Most rangefinders make you squint through a tiny eyepiece and hope you read it right. This one throws the number up on a second external side display too — 1000 yards out, accurate to half a yard, with a slope switch you can legally flip off before it matters. Seven modes, magnetic mount, USB-C fast charge.

None of that fixes your club selection. You'll still know exactly how far you left it short.

Shipping & Returns

30 days to return it if it doesn't work out — unworn, tags on, same shape it left in. Email embracetheshank@gmail.com and we'll sort it, no argument. Full policy here.

How It Works

Point at the flag, half-press to lock on, full press to measure. Flip the slope switch off before tournament play — slope-adjusted distance is against the rules in stroke play, this isn't optional advice.

Why SHANK

Golf is a beautiful, elegant, 500-year-old game. We are actively ruining it. This is gear for the 4-putt, the lost sleeve, and the beer-cart bender. We don't care about your handicap or your dress code. Play it ugly.

Read It From Either Side

Most rangefinders make you squint through a tiny eyepiece to confirm your number. This one throws it up on a second external display on the side — so you can double-check it yourself, or let your cart-mate see exactly how far you're about to miss it by.

Why This One's Different

Side Display

A second screen on the side, so you don't have to squint through the eyepiece to trust your number.

7 Measuring Modes

Flag-lock, slope, speed, continuous scan, two-point height, horizontal and vertical distance. Switch between yards, feet, and meters.

N95 Magnet Mount

Snaps onto your cart frame or clubhead and stays put through a bumpy ride down the fairway.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this legal for tournament play?

Yes — with the slope switch flipped off. Slope-adjusted distance isn't allowed under USGA rules in stroke play; this unit lets you toggle it on for practice rounds and off for the real thing.

How far can it actually measure?

Up to 1000 yards, accurate to ±0.5 yards. Flag-lock range is shorter in practice — same as every laser rangefinder, budget or not.

What if it doesn't work out?

30 days to return it. Full policy in the Shipping & Returns section above.

How does the magnetic mount work?

N95-strength magnet built into the body — snaps onto your cart frame or clubhead so it stays put through a bumpy cart ride.

Is this only for golf?

No — it's built for golf, disc golf, and hunting, with seven modes covering flag-lock, slope, speed, continuous scan, two-point height, and horizontal/vertical distance. Switch between yards, feet, and meters depending on what you're aiming at.

Play It Ugly. Measure It Precisely.

1000 yards. ±0.5 yard accuracy. No excuse for the fat chunk that follows.
